Method:
For Making Cream Cheese
1. Take the milk in a
pan and bring it to boiling temperature. Now add the lemon juice and stir continuously
until the cheese and water separates out.
2. Drain the water & wash the cheese with cold water properly. Keep it aside for around 10-15
minutes. Next, add curd and blend it in a mixer until a creamy cheese churns
out.
For the cake
3. For the crust, crush the Oreo biscuits to a
fine powder consistency. Add the melted butter and make a layer of it in the
bottom of the cake tin. Grill it for about 10 minutes in the microwave.
4. Take the cream
cheese formed above in a bowl. Add powdered sugar and beat it for about 2-3
minutes. Next, add egg and beat it for about 1 minute. Lastly, pour the vanilla
essence and give it a good mix.
5. Pour this batter over
the oreo crust base in the tin and grease the sides with some melted butter.
6. Pre-heat your oven or
microwave at 180 degree Celsius or 356 degree Fahrenheit. Take a microwave safe
container and add hot water to make a water bath for the cake. Add the cake tin
inside it so that the water level would be around ¾ height of the tin. Cook the
above mixture for 40 minutes on grill until the top surface becomes golden
brown.
7. Merry Christmas Everyone J
Tips:
1.
The lemon flavor would automatically come into the cheese cake since
you used lemon to extract the cheese from the milk.
2.
You can also use cream cheese from the super-market store. Add some
lemon zest if you want the lemon flavor.
