BESAN LADOOS

Ingredients:

Gram flour (Besan)

Desi Ghee
1/3 cup

Cardamom powder
½ teaspoon

Castor sugar
1 cup


Method:

    1.       Heat desi ghee (oil) in a pan.
    2.       Add gram flour (besan). Cook it on low flame and stir it continuously to avoid lumps.
    3.        You will notice that its colour gradually changes from yellow to light brown.
    4.       Now turn off the flame. Bring it to room temperature. Add cardamom powder and castor sugar. Here,   the sugar acts as a binding agent for the round balls. (You can even add more sugar if you feel the mixture is not binding properly).
    5.       Make small balls of the mixture with your hand and garnish it with chopped almonds.
