Method:
- Sift together Refined flour (Maida) and butter with your hands until it turns into a nice and creamy mixture.
 - Now add baking powder and give it a mix.
 - Take a separate bowl. Whisk egg and castor sugar properly. Then add milk and vanilla essence.
 - Pour this into the Maida bowl slowly and kneed the flour with your hand simultaneously. Stop when it turns into soft dough. Don’t make a batter.
 - Heat generous amount of oil in a pan.
 - Roll the dough with a roll pin of thickness around 7-8 mm.
 - Take a round face cup and cut out round shape pieces.
 - When the oil is ready, fry your doughnuts on simmer till they turn light golden brown. Don’t fry on high flame otherwise they will turn hard.
 - Take a microwave bowl. Microwave chocolate for about 1-1/2 minute until it melts. Now, dip your fried doughnuts in it and adorn it with castor sugar and colorful fennel (saunf).
