MOUTH-WATERING DOUGHNUTS

Method:


  1. Sift together Refined flour (Maida) and butter with your hands until it turns into a nice and creamy mixture.
  2.  Now add baking powder and give it a mix.
  3. Take a separate bowl. Whisk egg and castor sugar properly. Then add milk and vanilla essence.
  4.  Pour this into the Maida bowl slowly and kneed the flour with your hand simultaneously. Stop when it turns into soft dough. Don’t make a batter.
  5. Heat generous amount of oil in a pan.
  6. Roll the dough with a roll pin of thickness around 7-8 mm.
  7. Take a round face cup and cut out round shape pieces.
  8. When the oil is ready, fry your doughnuts on simmer till they turn light golden brown. Don’t fry on high flame otherwise they will turn hard.
  9. Take a microwave bowl. Microwave chocolate for about 1-1/2 minute until it melts. Now, dip your fried doughnuts in it and adorn it with castor sugar and colorful fennel (saunf). 
  10. Enjoy the sinful delight. ;)
