TANDOORI CHICKEN MOMOS




Ingredients


For Chili Sauce:

Method:



1. First of all, prepare Chili sauce:

ü  For this, put some fresh red chilies, garlic cloves, oil, salt, tomato sauce in a mixer.
ü  Grind it for a while until it is half crushed.
ü  Now add a little bit of water (you can even add the water in which you soaked chilies) and churn it again till it become nice and spicy!!!

2. Take a bowl. Add Maida (flour), a pinch of salt and 2 teaspoon oil. Mix them and make a dough using water. Keep it for 40-45 minutes.

3. Finely chop cabbage, mushroom, capsicum and carrot. 4. Now for the mixture, grate cheese, and add all the chopped vegetables, boiled and minced chicken, fresh basil leaves, white pepper, some green chili (optional), chopped garlic, salt and lime juice (optional). Mix them all together thoroughly. You can either use them raw or you can toss them in a fry pan with 2-3 teaspoon oil and salt to taste for 5-10 minutes. Just make sure add lime juice only when you the mixture is cooled down.

4. Make small balls of the dough and roll them in the form of round shape resembling chapattis (Rotis). Take the help of fresh flour if it sticks to the surface.

5. You can give any shape to the momos. For example:
ü  Put your filling in the center and fold it to make a half moon shape and then tightly close the sides by folding it inside out.
ü  Put the filling in the center and then fold it over and bring the edges together crimping them tightly such that it moulds in the form of a round case.
ü  Press them slightly with the fork on the sides to give a crease effect.


6. Once you are done, apply oil on them with a brush and keep them on the grilling plate and cook it till they acquire a little brownish tint on their surface.

7. Serve them with the chili sauce!!!!

PS: For those who are vegetarian, Except for the chicken , they can add Nutrela pieces(boiled and crushed) rest everything is same. Enjoy J
